Mission Statement
To reduce construction and maintenance costs through the development and promulgation of programs and recommendations that reduce/eliminate those costs which are not essential to the core work process.
Objectives
- To provide a forum where redundant/excessive costs for owner and contractors in the contracting process for construction and maintenance can be identified and recommendations developed for improvement.
- To provide a forum where issues in the contracting process including contractual provisions can be discussed and better understood by owners and contractors.
- To develop educational programs that address new requirements due to laws and regulations enacted by government agencies, e.g., sales and use tax, immigration, substance abuse, asbestos abatement, hazardous materials etc.
- To promote the use as an industry standard and continuously improve the HBR Contractor Pre-Qualification Form.
